About Sakina

Sakina is a small companion for Muslim girls who want their faith to feel like comfort, not another pressure.

It begins with a simple question: How is your heart today? From there, Sakina offers a Quranic reminder matched to your mood, a short reflection, one tiny action, and a private letter you can write to yourself.

The Quran is read with care: every reminder uses the Uthmani Arabic text and Sahih International translation, with context and tafsir from trusted scholars named on each screen.

What you can do

Mood check-in

No labels, no diagnosis — just an honest moment. Pick the feeling closest to your heart so Sakina can meet you there.

Quranic reminder

Each mood is paired with a real verse: Arabic Uthmani script, Sahih International translation, full reference, context of revelation and a short tafsir summary.

Gentle reflection

A few warm paragraphs written like a wise older sister: validating, never preachy, pointing back to Allah's mercy.

One tiny thing

A 60-second action — a breath, a dhikr, a dua, a sip of water. Small enough to do even on heavy days.

Letter to myself

A private daily note saved only on your device. Look back and notice how Allah carried you through different seasons.

Period-friendly prayer tracker

Log salah with notes, mark menstruation days without guilt, and press for encouragement when shame creeps in.

A note on privacy

Your letters, prayer log and moods are stored locally on your device. Sakina does not ask for your name, email or any account. What you write is yours alone.

"Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured."

Surah Ar-Ra'd 13:28
