When you feel lost
اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ
Allahumma lakal-hamd, anta nurus-samawati wal-ardi wa man fihinn
“O Allah, all praise is Yours. You are the Light of the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them.”

Where it comes from
The Prophet ﷺ began his tahajjud — the prayer of the loneliest hours — with these words, when he rose while the world slept.
